The applicant did not file for a new license with the state until December and the license was submitted to Local Authority for review on the afternoon of December 30th. Due to the holiday, staff vacations, and timing, city staff would not be able to sign off on the application before the January 3rd meeting. The next available meeting to approve the license was January 18th Mr. Boesen questioned how long it normally takes an application to go through the city approval process. He also asked if this license has received the necessary approvals from city staff. Kelley Felchle shared that if everything is in order and no issues are found during inspections, an application could get through city staff approval within one to three days.
