JANE LINDAMAN, ON BEHALF OF WATERLOO COMMUNITY SCHOOLS, FOR A WAIVER TO CONSTRUCT A HEATED PUBLIC SIDEWALK AT 1707 WILLISTON AVENUE, LOWELL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. WHEREAS, Dr. Jane Lindaman, on behalf of the Waterloo Community Schools, has made written application to the City Council asking that the Waterloo Community Schools be authorized and permitted to construct a heated public sidewalk at 1707 Williston Avenue, Lowell Elementary School, and legally described as follows: ANTHONY BAKERS PLAT OF OUTLOTS LOT 6 EXC SELY 60 FT AND ALL LOT 7, CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA. WHEREAS, it is the consensus of the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, that said request should be granted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that permission is hereby granted to Dr. Jane Lindaman, on behalf of the Waterloo Community Schools, to construct a heated public sidewalk at 1707 Williston Avenue, Lowell Elementary School, subject to the following conditions: 1. Work is to be performed by an approved and bonded contractor. 2. A permit is to be obtained from the office of the City Engineer prior to construction. 3. All work shall be under the supervision of the City Engineer and at no cost to the City of Waterloo. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the Black Hawk County Recorder for recording and the Black Hawk County Auditor for filing in order that this said action may become a matter of official County Record. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of December 2021.
