AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS AMENDED, BY
ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 14 TO SECTION 2A-7-N, CONDITIONAL
ZONING AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 3506.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1 . That Section 2A-7-N, of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 13 , of
said Section, the following Subsection No. 14 ( fourteen) .
"14.
Lots 1 and 2, Block 1, Cotton' s Addition, Waterloo, Iowa,
except beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 1; thence
North 90 feet along the East line of Lot 1; thence
Southwesterly to a point on the East line of Lot 2 that is
64. 8 feet North of the Southeast corner of Lot 2; thence
Southwesterly to a point 36 feet West and 40 feet North of
the Southeast corner of Lot 2; thence West to a point 40 feet
North of the Southwest corner of Lot 2; thence South 40 feet
along the West line of Lot 2 to the Southwest corner of Lot 2
thence East to the point of beginning,
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "C-i" ,
Commercial District, be and the same is hereby zoned as "C-Z" ,
Conditional Zoning District as above described, based on the
following conditions:
1. Based upon specific site plan;
2. Use existing building with a 15 ' x 15 ' fenced in storage
area at the southwest corner of the building;
3 . Parking lot for 8 vehicles that is hard surfaced and
approved by the City Engineer, and sets back from
Lafayette and Indiana R.O.W. lines at least 5 feet;
4. Permanent tire rack along southerly side of parking lot;
5. Balance of property is to be fenced in and kept clear of
salable items. "
Section 2 . That the Clerk/Auditor be, and he is hereby
directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the
Recorder of Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Section 3 . That Ordinance No. 3506 be and the same hereby
repealed.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, on the 16th day of November, 1987, and approved by
the Mayor on the 18th day of November, 1987.
