AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF GREENWOOD AVENUE IN THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
as follows:
A parcel of land consisting of part of Greenwood Avenue, as
now located, lying between Lots 51 and 63 of Burd' s
Subdivision of Sherwood Park a subdivision in Sec 16 and 21,
T89N, R13W of the 5th P.M. , Black Hawk County, Iowa,
described as follows:
Commencing at the south corner of said Lot 63 ; thence
N48°17-1/2 ' E 132 . 0 ft. along the southeasterly line of said
Lot 63 ; thence N24°16-1/2 'W 45 . 4 ft. to the point of
beginning; thence N57°41-1/2 'W 118 . 0 ft. along the southerly
line of Greenwood Avenue as now located; thence N14°04-1/2 'E
52 . 6 ft. ; thence S57°41-1/2 ' E 58 .7 ft. along the northerly
line of Greenwood Avenue as now located; thence S24°16-1/2 'E
90. 8 ft. to the point of beginning containing 4417 sq. ft. ;
shall be, and the same is hereby vacated.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, on the 28th day of December, 1987 , and approved by
the Mayor on the 30th day of December, 1987.
