ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS AMENDED, BY ADDING
SUBSECTION NO. 230 TO SECTION 2A-5 , REZONING CERTAIN
PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1. That Section 2A-5 , of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 229, of
said Section, the following Subsection No. Two Hundred Thirty
( 230) .
"230.
Parcel No. 9:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the centerline of
Summit Avenue and the southerly extension of the east line of
Lot 46 , Auditor Francis West Side Plat Waterloo; thence west
along the centerline of Summit Avenue and its westerly
extension to the centerline of Sergeant Road; thence
northeasterly along the centerline of Sergeant Road to the
east line of Lot 46, Auditor Francis West Side Plat Waterloo
extended northerly; thence southerly along the east line of
said Lot 46 and its extension to the point of beginning;
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "S-1" ,
Shopping Center Commercial District, be and the same is
hereby zoned as "R-3" Multiple Residence District;
Parcel No. 68 and 69 :
Beginning at a point on the centerline of Reber Avenue 435
feet west of the SE corner NE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section
27, Township 89, Range 13 , thence due north to the
intersection of the centerline of Sergeant Road; thence
southwesterly to the centerline of Reber Avenue extended
west; thence east along the centerline of Reber Avenue and
its westerly extension to the point of beginning;
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "S-1" ,
Shopping Center Commercial District, be and the same is
hereby zoned as "R-2" , One and Two Family Residence District;
Parcels No. 73 through 79 :
Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Fletcher
Avenue with the north line of Lot 52, Auditor Francis West
Side Plat Waterloo extended westerly, thence south along the
centerline of Fletcher Avenue to the intersection with the
centerline of Reber Avenue; thence east along the centerline
of Reber Avenue to the east line of Lot 50, Auditor Francis
West Side Plat Waterloo extended southerly; thence north
along the east line of said Lot 50 and its southerly
extension to the northeast corner of said Lot 50; thence west
along the north line of said Lots 50 , 51 and 52 to the point ›••
of beginning;
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "S-1" ,
Shopping Center Commercial District, be and the same is
hereby zoned as "R-2" , One and Two Family Residence
District. "
Section 2 . That the City Clerk be, and he is hereby directed
to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
