ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479 , AS AMENDED, BY ADDING
SUBSECTION NO. 234 TO SECTION 2A-5 , REZONING CERTAIN
PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1. That Section 2A-5 , of Ordinance No. 2479 , as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 233 , of
said Section, the following Subsection No. Two Hundred Thirty-four
( 234) .
"234.
That parts of Lots Nos. Eleven ( 11) and Twelve ( 12 ) described
as beginning at the point of intersection of the Southerly
line of Water Street with the Southerly extension of the West
line of Dunham Place thence Westerly along the Southerly line
of Water Street Three Hundred Nineteen and Six Tenths ( 319 . 6 )
feet, thence South Twenty-four ( 24) degrees one ( 1) minute
Forty ( 40 ) seconds West to the River Front Improvement
Commission line, thence Southeasterly along said River Front
Improvement Commission line to the point of its intersection
with the Southerly extension of the Westerly line of Dunham
Place, thence North along said Southerly extension to the
place of beginning; all in Auditor' s Consolidated Plat,
except those parts of said Lot No. Eleven ( 11 ) conveyed to
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, by Quit Claim Deed in Town Lot
Deed Record 145 at page 90 and Warranty Deed in Town Lot Deed
Record 146 at page 8 and except those parts of said Lots Nos.
Eleven ( 11 ) and Twelve ( 12) conveyed to the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, by Warranty Deed in City Lot Deed Record 558 at page
713 thereof, of the records of Black Hawk County, Iowa,
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "U-i" ,
Unclassified District, be and the same is hereby zoned as "M-1" ,
Light Industrial District as above described. "
Section 2 . That the City Clerk be, and he is hereby directed
to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council on the 7th day of
March, 1988 , approved by the Mayor on the 9th day of March, 1988 .
