AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF AN ALLEY GENERALLY LOCATED
NORTHWESTERLY FROM WEST FOURTH STREET AND THE ALLEY GENERALLY
LOCATED SOUTHWESTERLY FROM THE CEDAR RIVER, MILL SQUARE, CITY
OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
as follows:
The Northwesterly fifteen ( 15 ) feet of the Southeasterly
twenty ( 20 ) feet of Lot Nos. Thirteen ( 13 ) , Fourteen ( 14 ) ,
Fifteen ( 15 ) , Sixteen ( 16 ) , Seventeen ( 17 ) and Eighteen ( 18 ) ,
and the Northwesterly fifteen ( 15 ) feet of the Southeasterly
twenty ( 20 ) feet of the Southwesterly five ( 5 ) feet, Lot
Thirty-four ( 34 ) , Mill Square, all in the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
and
Commencing at the most westerly corner of Lot Twenty-four
( 24) , Mill Square, thence Southeasterly a distance of
Fifty-eight and one-half ( 58 . 5 ) feet; thence at right angles
to the right fifteen ( 15 ) feet; thence at right angles to the
right ninety-three and one-half ( 93 . 5 ) feet; thence at right
angles to the right fifteen ( 15 ) feet; thence at right angles
to the right thirty-five ( 35 ) feet to the point of beginning,
all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
shall be, and the same is hereby vacated, with the City' s
retention of an easement over, under, and above the above
described parcels .
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, on the 14th day of March, 1988 , and approved by
the Mayor on the 16th day of March, 1988 .
