ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS AMENDED, BY
ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 18 TO SECTION 2A-7, CONDITIONAL
REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1 . That Section 2A-7 , of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 17, of
said Section, the following Subsection No. Eighteen ( 18) .
"18 .
All that part of Lot 21 in Auditor' s Consolidated Plat, in
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, lying Northeasterly of the Right
of Way conveyed to the Illinois Central Railroad Company by
Deed recorded in Town Lot Deed Record No. 120 , at page 434 of
the records of Black Hawk County, Iowa, except the
Northwesterly Sixty ( 60) feet of the Northeasterly One
Hundred Ten ( 110 ) feet thereof and except the Southeasterly
Seventy-five ( 75 ) feet in even width thereof, all in the City
of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "R-2" , One and
Two Family Residence District, be and the same is hereby zoned as
"C-Z" , Conditional Zoning District as above described, subject to
the following conditions:
1. Submission of a revised site plan showing the size and
location of any commercial signs;
2. Lighting be directed away from surrounding residential
properties; and
3 . No retail or carryout sales of beer be allowed. "
Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and he is hereby directed
to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
