AN ORDINANCE VACATING UNIMPROVED NORTH JANNEY AVENUE AS
PLATTED SOUTH OF ALABAR AVENUE, IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
as follows:
The East Thirty ( 30) feet of the West Forty-five ( 45) feet of
that part of Janney Avenue lying north of the South line of
vacated Hartman Avenue and lying south of a line described as
beginning at a point on the West line of said East Thirty
( 30) feet of West Forty-five ( 45 ) feet of said Janney Avenue,
said point lying One Hundred Forty-two and Eighty-six
Hundredths ( 142. 86 ) feet North of the South line of vacated
Hartman Avenue; thence Southeasterly to a point on the East
line of said East Thirty ( 30 ) feet of West Forty-five ( 45 )
feet of said Janney Avenue, said point lying One Hundred
Fifty-seven ( 157 ) feet radially distant and Southwesterly of
the centerline of U.S. Highway No. 218 as described in L.D.
491, page 369, Black Hawk County Recorder' s Office, in the
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
shall be, and the same is hereby vacated, with the City' s
retention of a permanent utility easement over, under, and above
the above described parcel.
