ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479 , AS AMENDED, BY
ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 242 TO SECTION 2A-5, REZONING
CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1. That Section 2A-5 , of Ordinance No. 2479 , as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 241 , of
said Section, the following Subsection No. Two Hundred Forty-two
( 242) .
"242.
A parcel of land located in Sections 20 and 21 , Township 89
North, Range 12 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian,
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as follows:
The SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said Section 21-89-12 lying
Southerly of the Chicago Northwestern Transportation Company
right-of-way;
and, also, the E 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of said Section 20-89-12
lying Southerly of the Chicago Northwestern Transportation
Company right-of-way;
and, also, the NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of said Section 20-89-12
lying Southerly of the Chicago Northwestern Transportation
Company right-of-way;
and, also, the N 1/2 of the NW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of said
Section 20-89-12 lying Southerly of the Chicago Northwestern
Transportation Company right-of-way;
and, also, the NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of said
Section 20-89-12 lying Southerly of the Chicago Northwestern
Transportation Company right-of-way;
and, also, the East 66 feet of the South 3/4 of the West 1/2
of the Southeast 1/4 of said Section 20-89-12;
and, also, the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of said Section 20-89-12,
excepting, therefrom, the South 50 feet and the East 31. 5
rods and the West 320 feet of the East 839 . 75 feet of the
South 275 feet;
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "A-1" ,
Agricultural District, be and the same is hereby zoned as "M-2 ,P" ,
Planned Industrial District as above described. "
Section 2 . That the City Clerk be, and he is hereby directed
to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
