RESOLUTION NO. 2022-096 RESOLUTION APPROVING AN OPTION AGREEMENT WITH ZYDECO INVESTMENTS, LLC FOR THE CITY TO REPURCHASE LAND CONVEYED TO ZYDECO INVESTMENTS, LLC IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,170,000.00 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A 170,000 SQUARE FOOT WAREHOUSE/OFFICE BUILDING, LOCATED EAST OF 2210 LEVERSEE ROAD, AND AUTHORIZING MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Option Agreement dated February 7, 2022, between Zydeco Investments, LLC, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, for the City to repurchase land conveyed to Zydeco Investments, LLC in the amount of $1,170,000.00 for the construction of a 170,000 square foot warehouse/office building, located east of 2210 Leversee Road, is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
