RESOLUTION AWARDING BIDS FOR THE SEASONAL
FARM AND HAY CONCESSION AT THE WATERLOO
REGIONAL AIRPORT, FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2022-
2024 SEASONS FOR THE HAY CONCESSION TO BRAD
FECKERS, OF SHELL ROCK, IOWA, IN AN AMOUNT OF
$52.50 PER 1,500 POUND HAY BALE; AND, FOR THE FARM
CONCESSION TO BEN GOSSE, OF APEX AGRICULTURE,
OF JESUP, IOWA, WITH A BID OF $330. PER ACRE BASED
ON A TOTAL OF 1,257.04 ACRES, AND AUTHORIZE THE
AIRPORT DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, Brad Feckers of Shell Rock, Iowa , submitted a bid in the amount of $52.50
per 1,500 pound bale in conjunction with the seasonal Hay Concession at the Waterloo Regional
Airport, for the calendar years 2022-2024, and
WHEREAS, Ben Gosse of Apex Agriculture, Jesup, Iowa, submitted a bid in the amount
of $330.00 per acre for 1,257.04 acres, in conjunction with the seasonal farm Concession at the
Waterloo Regional Airport, for the calendar years 2022-2024.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. That the bid of Brad Feckers, in the amount of $52.50 per 1,500 pound bale, in
conjunction with the seasonal Hay Concession at the Waterloo Regional Airport, for the calendar
years 2022 -2024, is hereby awarded.
2. That the bid of Ben Gosse of Apex Agriculture, in the amount of $330.00 per acre for
1,257.04 acres, in conjunction with the seasonal farm Concession at the Waterloo Regional
Airport, for the calendar years 2022-2024, is hereby awarded.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of February 2022.
