RESOLUTION NO. 2022-049
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY LODGE CONSTRUCTION
INC., OF CLARKSVILLE, IOWA, IN CONJUNCTION WITH
THE ANSBOROUGH AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS FROM
BLACK HAWK ROAD TO DOWNING AVENUE, IOWA DOT
GRANT PROJECT NO. STP-A-8155(757)--86-07, FOR A
TOTAL CONTRACT AMOUNT OF $275,902.52, AND
RELEASE OF RETAINAGE IN THE AMOUNT OF $8,277.08.
WHEREAS, Lodge Construction, Inc., of Clarksville, Iowa, performed work in
conjunction with the Ansborough Avenue Improvements From Black Hawk Road to Downing
Avenue, Iowa DOT Grant Project No. STP-A-8155(757)--86-07, and
WHEREAS, Lodge Construction, Inc., has completed the aforementioned project, in
accordance with the bid documents, specifications, form of contract, etc., as approved by April
20, 2020, Resolution No. 2020-269.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by Lodge Construction, Inc., in the amount of $275,902.52, in
conjunction with the Ansborough Avenue Improvements From Black Hawk Road to Downing
Avenue, Iowa DOT Grant Project No. STP-A-8155(757)--86-07, are hereby approved, and
retainage in the amount of $8,277.08 is hereby released.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of February 2022.
