RESOLUTION NO. 2022-090
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE GRADE CROSSING SURFACE
REPAIR FUND FORCE ACCOUNT AGREEMENT WITH THE IOWA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, CHICAGO CENTRAL AND
PACIFIC RAILROAD, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE RAINBOW
DRIVE RAILROAD CROSSING SURFACE REPAIR PROJECT, WITH
THE CITY'S SHARE BEING THE COST OF TRAFFIC CONTROL
AND TWENTY -PERCENT OF THE CONSTRUCTION COST, WHICH
IS TO BE DETERMINED, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, that the Grade Crossing Surface Repair Fund Force Account Agreement with the Iowa
Department of Transportation, Chicago Central and Pacific Railroad, in conjunction with the
Rainbow Drive Railroad Crossing Surface Repair Project, with the City's share being the cost of
traffic control and twenty -percent of the construction cost, which is to be determined, and
authorizing the Mayor to execute said document, is hereby approved and the Mayor is authorized
and directed to execute said agreement on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of February 2022.
