AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS AMENDED,
BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 24 TO SECTION 2A-7N,
CONDITIONAL REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
as follows:
Section 1 . That Section 2A-7N, of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 23 , of
said Section, the following Subsection No. Twenty-four ( 24 ) .
"24 .
Hagerman Place, Lots 1 , 2, 3 , 4, 5, 16 , 17, 18, 19 and 20,
Block 17, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa.
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "R-2" One and
Two Family Residence District, be and the same is hereby zoned as
"C-2" Commercial District/"C-Z" Conditional Zoning District as
above described" , subject to the following conditions : 1 .
Proposed development to not include bars, taverns or lounges and
no adult entertainment establishment. 2 . A revised site plan to
be submitted showing no access onto Howrey Avenues . 3 .
Screening of the property (plantings, landscaping) will be shown
on said revised site plan. 4 . Lighting of the parking lot will
be directed away from Howrey and Janney Avenues.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk be, and he is hereby
directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the
Recorder of Black Hawk County, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, on the 13th day of November, 1989, and approved
by the Mayor on the 15th day of November, 1989.
