AN ORDINANCE VACATING THE EASTERLY FIFTEEN ( 15 ) FEET OF
LAPORTE ROAD IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
as follows:
A parcel of land located in the E 1/2 of Section 2-88-13 ,
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the Northwesterly
right-of-way line of Bopp Street and the northeasterly
right-of-way line of LaPorte Road; thence S 54°39 ' 30" W a
distance of 15. 00 feet; thence N 35°20 ' 30" W along a line
parallel with and 30. 00 feet normally distant from the
center line of LaPorte Road a distance of 883 . 70 feet;
thence N 89°55 ' 30" E a distance of 18. 30 feet; thence S
35°20 ' 30" E a distance of 873 . 09 feet to the point of
beginning.
The center line of LaPorte Road is assumed to bear N
35°20 ' 30" W.
Said parcel contain 13 , 175. 87 sq. ft;
shall be, and the same is hereby vacated, with the City' s
retention of a utility easement over, under, and above the above
described parcel.
