AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1988 TRAFFIC CODE BY
REPEALING SUBSECTION ( 2 ) FIFTH STREET (W) OF SECTION
561 , TWO HOUR PARKING; AND BY ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF
A NEW SUBSECTION ( 2) FIFTH STREET (W) OF SECTION 561,
TWO HOUR PARKING; AND BY ADDING A NEW SECTION 562B,
FOUR HOUR PARKING.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
as follows:
That Subsection ( 2) Fifth Street (W) of Section 561 , Two
Hour Parking, of the 1988 Traffic Code, is hereby repealed in its
entirety; that a new Subsection ( 2 ) Fifth Street (W) of Section
561, Two Hour Parking, of the 1988 Traffic Code, is hereby
enacted in lieu thereof as follows:
( 2 ) Fifth Street (W) Both sides from Washington
Street to South Street;
southwest side from South
Street to Randolph
That Section 562B, Four Hour Parking, is hereby added to the
1988 Traffic Code as follows:
SEC. 562B. FOUR HOUR PARKING
When signs are erected in each block, or portion, thereof,
giving notice, no person shall park a vehicle for longer than
four hours at any time between the hours of 8: 00 A.M. and 6: 00
P.M. within the district and upon any of the street or portions
thereof as named herein:
( 1 ) Fourth Street (W) West side from Washington
Street to South Street
