ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS AMENDED, BY
ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 254 TO SECTION 2A-5, REZONING
CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1. That Section 2A-5 , of Ordinance No. 2479 , as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 253 , of
said Section, the following Subsection No. Two Hundred Fifty-four
( 254 ) .
"254 .
A parcel of land located in the NW 1/4 of Section 10-88-13 ,
in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, described
as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of said NW 1/4 of Section
10; thence S. 00°00 ' 00" E. along the East line of said NW 1/4
of Section 10 a distance of 862. 20 feet; thence S. 90°00 ' 00"
W. a distance of 24 . 97 feet to the centerline of Primary Road
No. 21 ; thence S. 89°37 ' 30" W. a distance of 150. 00 feet to
the point of beginning; thence S. 44°40 ' 38" W. a distance of
310. 25 feet to the Northerly R-O-W line of U.S. 20; thence N.
42°26 ' 50" W. a distance of 295 . 27 feet; thence N. 89°37 ' 30"
E. a distance of 417 . 43 feet to the point of beginning;
The East line of the NW 1/4 of Section 10-88-13 is assumed to
bear S. 00°00 ' 00" W. ;
and also,
A parcel of land located in part of the NW 1/4 of Sec 10 ,
T88N, R13W of the 5th P.M. , Black Hawk County, Iowa,
described as follows:
Commencing at the N 1/4 cor said Sec 10; thence S 00°00 'W
862. 2 ft. along the east line of the NW 1/4 said Sec 10 ;
thence S 89°18-1/2 'W 174 . 3 ft. to the point of beginning;
thence S 44°43-1/2 'W 309. 4 ft. ; thence N 42°27 'W 291 . 1 ft. ;
thence N 89°18-1/2 ' E 414. 3 ft. to the point of beginning
containing 1 . 03 acres, all in the City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa;
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "A-1" ,
Agricultural District;, be and the same is hereby zoned as "C-2" ,
Commercial District as above described. "
Section 2 . That the City Clerk be, and he is hereby directed
to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
