ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479 , AS AMENDED, BY
ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 249 TO SECTION 2A-5, REZONING
CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1 . That Section 2A-5 , of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 248, of
said Section, the following Subsection No. Two Hundred Forty-nine
( 249) .
"249.
That part of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of Section
Twenty-two ( 22 ) , Township Eighty-nine North (T89N) , Range
Twelve West (R12W) described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Northwest Quarter
(NW 1/4 ) ; thence S89°43 ' 02"E Four Hundred Ninety-five and
Fifteen Hundredths ( 495 . 15) feet along the South line of said
Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) ; thence N00°00 ' 33"E Ninety-four
and Thirty-two Hundredths ( 94 . 32 ) feet; thence N81°02 ' 06"E
Two Hundred Fifty-five and Nineteen Hundredths ( 255 . 19 ) feet;
thence N00°07 ' 14"W Seven Hundred Seventy-seven and
Thirty-five Hundredths ( 777 . 35 ) feet; thence N90°00 ' 00"W One
Hundred Sixty-five ( 165 . 00 ) feet ; thence N00°00 ' 00"W Sixty
( 60) feet; thence N90°00 ' 00"W One Hundred Thirty ( 130) feet;
thence N00°00 ' 00"W Sixty ( 60 ) feet; thence N90°00 ' 00"W Four
Hundred Fifty-one ( 451 ) feet to a point on the West line of
said Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4 ) that is One Thousand
Twenty-nine ( 1029 ) feet North of the Southwest corner of said
Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4 ) ; thence S00°00 ' 00"E along the West
line of said Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4 ) to the point of
beginning, except the West Three Hundred ( 300) feet thereof;
Also,
The South Two Hundred ( 200) feet of the West Three Hundred
( 300) feet of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4 ) of Section No.
Twenty-two ( 22 ) , Township Eighty-nine North (T89N) , Range
Twelve West (R12W) , all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa;
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "A-1" ,
Agricultural District, be and the same is hereby zoned as "M-2 ,P" ,
Planned Industrial District as above described. "
Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and he is hereby directed
to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of
Black Hawk County, Iowa.

PASSED 2ND CONSIDERATION: April 10, 1989
PASSED 3RD CONSIDERATION: April 10, 1989
