AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CODE BY ADDING SUBSECTION
(19) , SIXTH STREET, TO SECTION 542, ONE-WAY STREETS AND ALLEYS;
BY REPEALING SUBSECTION (90b) SIXTH STREET (WEST) OF SECTION
543, THRU STREETS, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SUBSECTION
(90b) SIXTH STREET TO SECTION 543, THRU STREETS; AND BY ADDING
SUBSECTION (256) , SIXTH STREET BRIDGE, TO SECTION 551 , PARKING
PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES ON CERTAIN STREETS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa:
That Subsection (19) , Sixth Street, is hereby added to Section 542 ,
One-Way Streets and Alleys, of the Traffic Code of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, as follows:
(19) Sixth Street Southwest to northeast from Washington
Street to Franklin Street
That Subsection (90b) Sixth Street (West) of Section 543, Thru
Streets, of the Traffic Code of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is hereby
repealed in its entirety; that new Subsection (90b) Sixth Street of
Section 543, Thru Streets, of the Traffic Code of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, is hereby enacted in lieu thereof as follows :
(90b) Sixth Street Washington Street to Jefferson Street;
Commercial Street to Sycamore Street
That Subsection (256) Sixth Street Bridge, is hereby added to Section
551, Parking Prohibited at All Times on Certain Streets, of the
Traffic Code of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, as follows:
(256) Sixth Street Bridge Both sides from Commercial Street to
Water Street
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council this 17th day of June, 1985,
and approved by the Mayor this 19th day of June, 1985.
