AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CODE BY REPEALING SUBSECTIONS
(16) BOPP AND LAPORTE ROAD AND (103) LAPORTE ROAD AND GRIMM OF
SECTION 540, OBEDIENCE TO OFFICIAL TRAFFIC-CONTROL DEVICES, AND
SUBSECTION (54) LAPORTE ROAD OF SECTION 543, THRU STREETS ; AND
ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF NEW SUBSECTION (54) LAPORTE ROAD OF
SECTION 543, THRU STREETS.
BL IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of waterloo, Iowa:
That Subsections (16) Bopp and LaPorte Road and (103) LaPorte Road
and Grimm of Section 540, Obedience to Official Traffic-Control
Devices , of the Traffic Code of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, are
hereby repealed in their entirety; that Subsection (54) LaPorte Road
of Section 543, Thru Streets , of the Traffic Code of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, is hereby repealed in its entirety ; that new
Subsection (54) LaPorte Road of Section 543, Thru Streets , of the
Traffic Code of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is hereby enacted in lieu
thereof as follows :
SEC . 543. THRU STREETS .
(54) LaPorte Road Comrercial Street to southerly
corporate limits , except for traffic
signals at Mitchell Avenue, Highway
412, and a one-way stop at Washington
Street
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council this 7 day of October,
1935, and approved by the Mayor this 9 day of October, 1985.
