Adopt resolution approving the following:
1. Communication from Mayor Bernie McKinley transmitting
recommendation of appointment of James T. Barry to the Human
Rights Commission, with term expiration of January 1, 1994.
2. Communication from Mayor Bernie McKinley transmitting
recommendation of appointment of William H. Burger to the
Board of Library Trustees for another six year term, with
term expiration of June 30, 1996.
3 . F.Y. 1990 Water Pollution Control Plant Improvements, Phase
I - Step 2, Contract No. 387 .
Instruct City Engineer to prepare plans, specifications,
form of contract, etc.
Receive and file plans, specifications, etc. , and adopt
resolution preliminarily approving the same.
Instruct City Clerk/Auditor to publish notice of hearing on
plans, specifications, etc. , and taking of bids. Set date
of hearing as July 2, 1990.
Travel Requests
1. John Meyer, Public Works Director, to attend APWA National
Congress in St. Louis, Missouri, on September 8-13 , 1990,
with costs not to exceed $1,130. 00.
2 . Sue Vaughn, Special Projects Coordinator, to attend
Designing and Implementing a Recycling Program Workshop in
Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 25-26, 1990, with costs not to
exceed $445. 50, including the use of City vehicle.
3 . Stan Stapella, Fire Chief, to attend 1990 International
Association of Fire Chiefs Conference in Orlando, Florida,
on August 18-22, 1990, with costs not to exceed $1,309.
