Members absent: Getty. Moved by Reggie Schmitt, seconded by Hart that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes: Five. Absent: Getty, Greenwood. Motion carried. Mayor Hurley reviewed items on the standing committee agendas for meeting scheduled for Monday, June 1, 2009. Greenwood now present at 8:04 a.m. Mayor Hurley reviewed items on the council agenda for Monday, June 1, 2009 and the following items were reviewed. Mayor Hurley stated that he would put some information together for council on the Sidewalk Repair and Inspection Program — Zone 9. We may go into executive session to discuss this issue. Councilperson Cole asked about the status of 2554-2556 Edgemont Avenue. Councilperson Reggie Schmitt noted that the city now owns this property and that it can be rehabilitated. The intent is to seek bids and get it back on the tax roll. Noel Anderson, Community Planning & Development Director, stated that they are putting together a minimum bid package and a development agreement which requires the purchasers to have the building rehabilitated within six months of the purchase. Mr. Anderson noted that his office has received a lot of calls from interested buyers on the property. With no further business before the council, it was moved by Hart, seconded by Reggie Schmitt that the meeting be adjourned at 8:11 a.m. Ayes: Six. Absent: Getty. Motion carried.
