Members present: Mayor Pro Tem Reggie Schmitt, Cole, Hart, Greenwood, Steve Schmitt,
Welper.
Members absent: Getty.
Moved by Welper, seconded by Greenwood that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes:
Six. Absent: Getty. Motion carried.
Mayor Pro Tem Reggie Schmitt reviewed items on the Standing Committee agendas for
meetings scheduled for Monday, February 25, 2008.
Mayor Pro Tem Reggie Schmitt reviewed items on the council agenda for Monday, February 25,
2008 and the following items were discussed.
Doug Carter, Fire Chief, reported that under Public Information is the appointment of the new
firefighters with a start date of February 18, 2008. Once they have completed training, he will
bring them to council for the formal swearing -in ceremony.
Mayor Pro Tem Reggie Schmitt reported that he will contact Jim Walsh, City Attorney, to see if
the revisions to the animal control ordinance is ready to be placed on the council agenda for
Monday night.
With no further business before the council, it was moved by Cole, seconded by Welper that the
meeting be adjourned at 8:04 a.m. Ayes: Six. Absent: Getty. Motion carried.
