COUNCIL WORK SESSION
October 13, 2008

Members present: Chairperson Welper, Hart, Reggie Schmitt.
Moved by Reggie Schmitt, seconded by Hart that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes:
Three. Motion carried.
The request of the Acting Superintendent of Waste Management Services for authorization to
begin the Civil Service process for Sewer Maintenance Worker and make an appointment from
the Civil Service List was reviewed. The position is vacant due to a retirement. Upon approval
of a certified list by the Civil Service Commission, the Acting Superintendent will make an
appointment directly to the council. Moved by Hart, seconded by Reggie Schmitt that said
request be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
With no further business before the committee, it was moved by Reggie Schmitt, seconded by
Hart that the meeting be adjourned at 4:22 p.m. Ayes: Three. Motion carried.
