Members present: Mayor Hurley, Kincaid, Welper, Gunderson, Getty, Cole, Schmitt.
Members absent: Greenwood.
Moved by Schmitt, seconded by Kincaid that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes: Six.
Absent: Greenwood. Motion carried.
Mayor Hurley reviewed items on the Standing Committee agenda for committee meetings
scheduled for Monday, March 12, 2007.
Mayor Hurley reviewed items on the council agenda for Monday, March 12, 2007 and the
following items were discussed.
The request from Schenk Engineering to hire Tetra Tech to conduct soil borings, subgrade
inspections and compaction and concrete testing in conjunction with the Cyclone Drive/Titan
Trail Project was discussed. Don Temeyer, Community Planning & Development Director,
reported that this testing is for the area on the west side of the road, south of the UBC building.
Councilperson Schmitt asked for an update on the Rich Penn property. Lou Cutwright, Building
Official/Maintenance Administrator, responded, he called Mr. Penn but has not received a return
call. Mr. Cutwright will send him a certified letter. It was suggested that the property could be
tagged under the city's property maintenance code.
With no further business before the council, it was moved by Cole, seconded by Schmitt that the
meeting be adjourned at 8:12 a.m. Ayes: Six. Absent: Greenwood. Motion carried.
