Members absent: Kincaid. Moved by Schmitt, seconded by Cole that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes: Five. Absent: Kincaid, Greenwood. Motion carried. Mayor Hurley reviewed items on the Standing Committee agendas for meetings scheduled for Monday, August 27, 2007. Greenwood now present at 8:04 a.m. Mayor Hurley reviewed items on the council agenda for Monday, August 27, 2007 and the following items were discussed. Don Temeyer, Community Planning & Development Director, noted that the FY 2007 CMC Parcel 2 Cleanup Project, Contract No. 725, will have two process, including removing and hauling material on the site. Councilperson Getty explained that he has received calls from people on Louise Street regarding noise from the salvage yard on Saturdays and nights. Don Miller is trying to open up another rubble site on Louise Street, and they are concerned with the noise in the area. Don Temeyer, Community Planning & Development Director, responded that is a dead-end street and Mr. Miller needs to work with the property owners. Any complaints regarding noise needs to be directed to the Police Department. With no further business before the council, it was moved by Gunderson, seconded by Cole that the meeting be adjourned at 8:13 a.m. Ayes: Six. Absent: Kincaid. Motion carried. Nancy Eckert City Clerk
