COUNCIL WORK SESSION
May 4, 2006

Members present: Welper, Gunderson, Getty, Cole, Schmitt, Kincaid.
Members absent: Greenwood.
Moved by Welper, seconded by Gunderson that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes:
Five. Absent: Greenwood, Kincaid. Motion carried.
Mayor Pro Tem Schmitt reviewed items on the Standing Committee agendas for Monday, May
8, 2006.
Kincaid now present at 8:02 a.m.
Mayor Pro Tem Schmitt reviewed items on the council agenda for Monday, May 8, 2006 and the
following items were discussed.
Councilperson Getty distributed pictures of the trash dropped off at the recycling bin located by
the former Chamberlain site. Lou Cutwright, Building Official/Maintenance Administrator,
reported that Code Enforcement Officers had dug through the trash and found names on items.
Two citations were issued for illegal dumping. Councilperson Getty stated the city needs to take
a serious look at the illegal dumping throughout the city and maybe it was time to talk about a
transfer station.
Councilperson Kincaid reported that the cameras on Willow Street need to be updated in order to
get better pictures.
A council work session will be scheduled to discuss the illegal dumping issue.
With no further business before the council, it was moved by Gunderson, seconded by Welper
that the meeting be adjourned at 8:12 a.m. Ayes: Six. Absent: Greenwood. Motion carried.
