COUNCIL WORK SESSION
October 12, 2006

Members present: Mayor Hurley, Kincaid, Welper, Gunderson, Getty, Schmitt.
Members absent: Greenwood, Cole.
Moved by Schmitt, seconded by Kincaid that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes:
Five. Absent: Greenwood, Cole. Motion carried.
Mayor Hurley reviewed the Standing Committee agendas for Monday, October 16, 2006.
Mayor Hurley reviewed items on the council agenda for Monday, October, 16, 2006, and the
following item was discussed.
1. The agreement with Dan Corbin, Inc. for preparation of specifications for digital
terrain model for the city. Black Hawk County is going to fly the entire county and
do color aerial photos of the entire county. The city is going to piggy back with the
county for the digital terrain model. The digital terrain model information is used for
development plans, and the city will use it with the new stormwater map to place over
contours. The agreement is just for developing the specifications so that we can bid
our portion with Black Hawk County.
With no further business before the council, it was moved by Getty, seconded by Gunderson that
the meeting be adjourned at 8:10 a.m. Ayes: Five. Absent: Greenwood, Schmitt. Motion
carried.
