RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF REQUEST
FOR PROPOSAL DOCUMENT, FORM OF CONTRACT,
ETC. IN CONJUNCTION WITH ARCHAEOLOGICAL
SERVICES FOR HAZARD MITIGATION GRANT
PROGRAM (HMGP) PROPERTY ACQUISITION PROJECT
- PUBLIC ASSISTANCE (PA) DEMOLITION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
heretofore instructed the City Planner of said City to prepare
Request for Proposal Document, form of contract, etc. for
Archaeological Services for Hazard Mitigation Grant Program
(HMGP) Property Acquisition Project - Public Assistance (PA)
Demolition, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, said City Planner did file said Request for
Proposal Document, form of contract, etc. for Archaeological
Services for Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) Property
Acquisition Project - Public Assistance (PA) Demolition, which
was preliminarily approved on November 23, 2009, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on December 7,
2009.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said Request for Proposal Document, form of
contract, etc. for Archaeological Services for Hazard Mitigation
Grant Program (HMGP) Property Acquisition Project - Public
Assistance (PA) Demolition, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be,
and the same is hereby, approved as filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of December, 2009.

RESOLUTION NO. 2009-1180
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED WITH THE
F.Y. 2010 OFFICE FURNITURE UPDATE PROJECT FOR
THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 2009-1179, specifications, bid
document, form of contract, etc., for the F.Y. 2010 Office
Furniture Update Project for the Police Department, in the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, have been approved and adopted by this Council
after the hearing prescribed by statute.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it
is so ordered on motion by this Council that the said purchase be
approved.
