Members absent: Greenwood, Welper. Moved by Gunderson, seconded by Schmitt that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes: Five. Absent: Greenwood, Welper Motion carried. Agenda items that have been placed on the council agenda of Monday, January 10, 2005 were reviewed with Department Heads who have placed items on the agenda. Mayor Hurley reviewed Standing Committee agendas for Monday, January 10, 2005. Items discussed included: 1. Request from Ron Weber to release the revision clause on property the city sold to him located at the northwest corner of Highway 218 and West 11th Street. The policy states that if construction is not started on the property within two years, the property reverts back to the city and the purchase price is refunded to the buyer. Mr. Weber would like to sell the property, but the potential buyer says the reversion clause is a lien on the property. Staff recommends we follow the policy. 2. Mayor Hurley updated the council on the snow removal. Staff started plowing residential streets at 6:00 a.m. this morning. Priority streets are plowed. With no further business before the council, it was moved by Gunderson, seconded by Cole that the meeting be adjourned at 8:17 a.m. Ayes: Five. Absent: Greenwood, Welper. Motion carried. Nancy Eckert City Clerk
