Moved by Welper, seconded by Kincaid that the Agenda, as proposed, be appr Greenwood. Motion carried. Eric Thorson, City Engineer, reviewed the cost to construct curb and guff streets in the city. Using the Fairview Avenue information, the City Engine prepared what typical assessments would be for property owners affected if cu constructed on Fairview and the costs were assessed. The following information was presented as to how many miles of seal coat the city: Urban streets without curb and gutter Rural streets without curb and gutter All seal coat without curb and gutter Seal coat streets with curb and gutter Total of all seal coat streets 45.1 miles 7.1 miles 52.2 miles 10.2 miles 62.4 miles Using the estimate for Fairview Avenue as a guide, the estimated cost to gutter on all existing urban seal coat streets is as follows: Estimated cost /LF on Fairview Avenue = $176,982/1050 lineal ft. = $168.55/lineal ft.
