COUNCIL WORK SESSION

Welper.
Moved by Welper, seconded by Kincaid that the Agenda, as proposed, be
Seven. Motion carried.
Mayor Hurley reviewed the Standing Committee agendas for Monday, July 18
Agenda items were discussed with department heads who have items on
council agenda. Items discussed included:

1. Recycling applications.
2. Vision Iowa Agreement
3. Sale of property to Dwayne Eilers. The property was acquired as part of the
Martin Luther King Drive project. By state code any excess property not needed
by the city, we have to give first offer to the previous owner. Mr. Eilers has
offered the appraised value of the land.
With no further business before the council, it was moved by Gunderson, sec
that the meeting be adjourned at 8:20 a.m. Ayes: Seven. Motion carried.
