Moved by Gunderson, seconded by Kincaid that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes: Three. Motion carried. Tim Shea, Superintendent of Waste Management Services, reviewed the press release concerning the second annual citywide cleanup. The cleanup is open to all residents of the city and will take place on Saturday, September 17, 2005 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Waste Management Services located at 3505 Easton Avenue. To help defray some of the cost this year, each vehicle entering the site will be charged $1.00. An additional charge of $1.00 will be collected per tire or household appliance, with a limit of 4 tires and/or 4 appliances per household. No garbage, hazardous materials, paint, liquids or batteries will be accepted. The following items will be accepted: old furniture, old play equipment, doors, windows, carpet, junk. All gas powered equipment will need to have the gas and oil removed prior to dumping. The yardwaste portion of Waste Management Services will be closed on September 17, 2005 between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. to provide ample space for the citywide cleanup. With no further business before the council, it was moved by Cole, seconded by Gunderson that the meeting be adjourned at 5:05 p.m. Ayes: Seven. Motion carried. Nancy Eckert City Clerk
