The Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa met in Executive Session at City Hall Council
Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, at 7:30 a.m., on Thursday, September 8, 2005. Mayor Timothy J.
Hurley in the Chair. Roll Call: Kincaid, Cole, Greenwood, Clark, Schmitt, Gunderson,
Welper.
122279 - Welper/Clark
that the Agenda, as proposed, for the Executive Session on Thursday, September
8, 2005, at 7:30 a.m., be accepted and approved. Ayes: Seven. Motion carried.
122280 - Welper/Greenwood
that the council adjourn to Executive Session at 7:35 a.m. Ayes: Seven.
Motion carried.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
City Attorney Jim Walsh stated that discussion of potential litigation by MBI
concerning the contract with Johnson Controls, Inc. for the Five Sullivan
Brothers Convention Center Facility Improvement, Phase II approved by the
council on August 22, 2005 is an approved topic of Executive Session pursuant to
Iowa Code Section 21.5(1)(c)(2003.
