EXECUTIVE SESSION
November 21, 2005

Council Chambers
Members present: Mayor Hurley, Kincaid, Cole, Greenwood, Clark, Schmitt, Gunderson,
Welper.
Moved by Welper, seconded by Kincaid that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes:
Seven. Motion carried.
Mayor Hurley reported that the council was meeting to hold an executive session on acquisition
of property and labor negotiation strategy.
Moved by Welper, seconded by Kincaid that the council adjourn to Executive Session at 4:16
p.m. Ayes: Seven. Motion carried.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
City Attorney Jim Walsh stated that discussion of acquisition of Rath Maintenance Building is an
approved topic for Executive Session pursuant to Iowa Code Section 21.5(1)(j)(2005) and labor
negotiation strategy is an approved topic of Executive Session pursuant to Iowa Code Section
20.17(3)(2005).
Moved by Welper, seconded by Kincaid that the Council adjourn Executive Session at 5:16 p.m.
Ayes: Seven. Motion carried.
With no further business before the council, it was moved by Welper, seconded by Schmitt that
the meeting be adjourned at 5:16 p.m. Ayes: Seven. Motion carried.
