COUNCIL WORK SESSION
November 10, 2005

Council Chambers
Members present: Mayor Hurley, Greenwood, Clark, Schmitt, Gunderson, Welper.
Members absent: Kincaid, Cole.
Moved by Welper, seconded by Gunderson that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes:
Five. Absent: Kincaid, Cole. Motion carried.
Mayor Hurley reviewed items that are on the Standing Committee agendas for Monday,
November 14, 2005.
Mayor Hurley reviewed items that have been placed on the council agenda for Monday,
November 14, 2005.
The following items were discussed:
1. The storage building for Fire Rescue and Pollution Control. Lou Cutwright,
Building Official/Maintenance Administrator, reported that four contractors have
indicated interest in the project. Two will probably submit bids to demolish the
building and build new ones at the locations. Two have indicated they will bid to
tear down the building and move it to the new locations. A decision will have to
be made depending on the bids submitted.
2. The F.Y. 2006 Rath Brownfields Area Demolition Project, Contract No. 708.
This project consists of demolishing the former Myers Sheet Metal building.
With no further business before the council, it was moved by Welper, seconded by Gunderson
that the meeting be adjourned at 8:10 a.m. Ayes: Five. Absent: Kincaid, Cole. Motion carried.
