Members present: Cole, Schmitt, Gunderson, Welper.
Members absent: Kincaid, Greenwood, Clark.
Moved by Gunderson, seconded by Schmitt that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes:
Four. Absent: Kincaid, Greenwood, Clark. Motion carried.
Mayor Pro Tem Welper reviewed items on the council agenda of Wednesday, January 4, 2006.
Items discussed included the following:
1. Sale of the house located at 4330 Ansborough Avenue to James Rooff for
$500.00. Mr. Rooff will move the house to another location properly zoned, and
must obtain all necessary permits. Mr. Rooff will be required to move the home
within thirty days. The home was purchased as part of the Ansborough
Avenue/Highway 20 Interchange.
2. The resolution which designated the National Incident Management System
(NIMS) as the basis for all emergency/incident response and management in the
city. City officials, Department Heads and designees have attended NIMS class.
Class attendance is a requirement in order for the city to receive Homeland
Security funds.
With no further business before the committee, it was moved by Gunderson, seconded by Cole
that the meeting be adjourned at 8:09 p.m. Ayes: Four. Absent: Kincaid, Greenwood, Clark.
Motion carried.
