Moved by Clark, seconded by Kincaid that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes: Five. Absent: Welper. Motion carried. Agenda items that have been placed on the council agenda for Monday, January 12, 2004 were discussed with Department Heads. Items discussed included: 1. Request of the Leisure Services Commission for additional expenses estimated at $15,317 to move the construction site of the Iry Warren Golf Cart Storage Building approximately 250 feet forth of the pro shop. This is addition to the contract price of $90,803. The increase in cost is due to removal of trees, electrical, etc. Some neighbors have voiced concern for the new location. Funding is available through GO Bonds and golf improvement funds. 2. The Fire Act Grant in the amount of $71,256 to be used to install smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors and lock boxes for low-income senior homes and the required 30 percent match. The match will be fulfilled through the purchase of the equipment. 3. Amendment to the Section 108 Loan Guarantee Application to HUD. With no further business before the council, it was moved by Clark, seconded by Kincaid that the meeting be adjourned at 8:17 a.m. Ayes: Five. Absent: Welper. Motion carried. Nancy Eckert City Clerk
