COUNCIL WORK SESSION
January 22, 2004

Council Chambers
Members present: Mayor Hurley, Kincaid, Cole, Greenwood, Clark, Gunderson, Schmitt,
Welper.
Moved by Welper, seconded by Kincaid that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes:
Seven. Motion carried.
Agenda items that have been placed on the council agenda of Monday, January 26, 2004, were
discussed with Department Heads that have placed items on the agenda.
Council Members discussed the easement agreement with Waterloo Schools to use Prospect
Boulevard right-of-way for parking for the new Kingsley School. A council work session is
scheduled for January 26, 2004 to discuss the easement and then it will be placed on the council
agenda.
Council Members discussed homeless people and what resources are available. Mayor Hurley is
going to meet with people to discuss this issue. A Homeless Board meets regularly.
With no further business before the council, it was moved by Welper, seconded by Cole that the
meeting be adjourned at 8:11 a.m. Ayes: Seven. Motion carried.
