Council Chambers
Members present: Mayor Hurley, Kincaid, Cole, Greenwood, Schmitt, Gunderson, Welper.
Members absent: Clark.
Moved by Welper, seconded by Kincaid that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes: Six.
Absent: Clark. Motion carried.
Council Members reviewed items that have been placed on the council agenda of Monday, April
5, 2004 with Department Heads who have items on the agenda.
Council Members reviewed the Standing Committee agenda items.
Council Members discussed the final reading and adoption of the moratorium on construction
within the Vision Iowa Project and whether there is a need for the moratorium since they will be
approving the Comprehensive Plan on Monday evening.
Council discussed the problem with blowing trash and overflowing dumpsters and the need to
enforce the ordinance. A work session will be scheduled to further discuss this issue.
With no further business before the council, it was moved by Welper, seconded by Schmitt that
the meeting be adjourned at 8:25 a.m. Ayes: Six. Absent: Clark. Motion carried.
