COUNCIL WORK SESSION
January 13, 2003

Council Chambers
Members present: Mayor Rooff, Welper, Greenwood, Clark, Getty.
Members absent: Jordan, Hurley.
Moved by Getty, seconded by Clark that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes: Four.
Absent: Jordan, Hurley. Motion carried.
Pat Treloar, Waterloo Fire Rescue Fire Pals Coordinator, presented the Fire Pals website. The
website was developed by Ad -Fax in cooperation with the Communicable Disease Center. Ad -
Fax will host the website on their server. Edison Elementary School will be the site of a pilot
project. The Fire Depaitiuent will do a media blitz featuring the Fire Pals website. The website
is targeted for pre-school through 5th grade students. The site includes sixteen different safety
facts.
With no further business before the council, it was moved by Clark, seconded by Welper that the
meeting be adjourned at 4:17 p.m. Ayes: Four. Absent: Jordan, Hurley. Motion carried.
