RESOLUTION NO. 2009-1184
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF TURN KEY
ASSOCIATES, L.C., FOR A MINOR SITE PLAN
AMENDMENT TO THE "B -P" BUSINESS PARK DISTRICT
FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN OFFICE COMPLEX WITH
A REDUCTION IN THE REQUIRED PARKING FROM 56
STALLS TO 48 STALLS ON LOT 1 OF GREENBELT
CENTRE PLAT NO. 3 TO BE LOCATED AT THE
NORTHEAST CORNER OF GREYHOUND DRIVE AND
ATHENS DRIVE.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, approve the request of Turn Key Associates,
L.C., for a minor Site Plan Amendment to the "B -P" Business Park
District for the development of an office complex with a
reduction in the required parking from 56 stalls to 48 stalls on
Lot 1 of Greenbelt Centre Plat No. 3 to be located at the
northeast corner of Greyhound Drive and Athens Drive, legally
described as follows:
The Westerly 150.00 feet in even width of Lot 1,
Greenbelt Centre Plat No. 3, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
WHEREAS, due to the insignificant nature of said minor Site
Plan Amendment, the Council did not deem it necessary to hold a
public hearing, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said minor
Site Plan Amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the minor Site Plan Amendment to the
"B -P" Business Park District for the development of an office
complex with a reduction in the required parking from 56 stalls
to 48 stalls on Lot 1 of Greenbelt Centre Plat No. 3 to be
located at the northeast corner of Greyhound Drive and Athens
Drive, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of December, 2009, and
approved by the Mayor this 9th day of December, 2009.
