COUNCIL WORK SESSION
November 13, 2003

Council Chambers
Members present: Mayor Rooff, Welper, Clark, Jordan, Hurley, Getty, Greenwood.
Members absent: Kincaid.
Moved by Jordan, seconded by Welper that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes: Five.
Absent: Greenwood, Kincaid. Motion carried.
Agenda items that have been placed on the council agenda of Monday, November 17, 2003 were
reviewed with Department Heads who have items on the agenda.
Greenwood now present at 8:09 a.m.
Items discussed:
1. Two change orders for the Waterloo Regional Airport Terminal Renovation. Change
Order No. 1 for an increase of $18,950.00 for asbestos removal in the ceiling and floors
at the terminal. Change Order No. 6 for an increase of $48,537.00 for additional runway
lighting and adding a driveway entrance in front of the airport.
2. Extension of the lease with American Cable Company to lease property located at 910
Sycamore Street for $750.00 per month for the period of November 1, 2003 through
January 2004, with the lease to continue on a monthly basis after that time.
With no further business before the committee, it was moved by Getty, seconded by Jordan that
the meeting be adjourned at 8:17 a.m. Ayes: Six. Absent: Kincaid. Motion carried.
