HomeMy WebLinkAbout10.10.2002• COUNCIL WORK SESSION October 10, 2002 8:00 a.m. Council Chambers Members present: Berry, Welper, Hurley, Getty, Greenwood, Jordan. Members absent: Clark. Moved by Berry, seconded by Welper that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes: Four. Absent: Greenwood, Clark, Jordan. Motion carried. Items that have been placed on the council agenda of Monday, October 14, 2002, were discussed with Department Heads who have items on the agenda. Councilpersons Greenwood and Jordan now present at 8:02 a.m. Items discussed included: 1. Screening of dumpsters. 2. Golf course paving of parking lots contract and if user fees will be used to pay for the project. 3. Parking on the front yards — committee continues to meet. 4. Inspection fees — Landlord Association will be voting on the ordinance. 5. 4 way stop signs at Mitchell & Derbyshire and Reber & Euclid. 6. Mount Carmel dump site by Louise Street. Contractor wants to fill in south side of Louise Street. Must appear before the Board of Adjustment before they start to dump. Supreme Court says requests must go before Board of Adjustment and not city council. 7. Dump trucks by Logan Middle School. With no further business before the council, it was moved by Jordan, seconded by Welper that the meeting be adjourned at 8:30 a.m. Ayes: Six. Absent: Berry. Motion carried. Nancy Eckert City Clerk
