COUNCIL WORK SESSION
November 13, 2001
4:30 p.m.
Council Chambers
Members present: Murphy, Gronen, Getty, Berry.
Members absent: Anders, Jordan, Krizek.
Moved by Berry, seconded by Gronen that the Agenda, as proposed,
be approved. Ayes: Four. Absent: Anders, Jordan, Krizek.
Motion carried.
Krizek now present at 4:35 p.m.
Larry Smith, Assistant Superintendent of Waste Management
Services reviewed the Professional Services Agreements being
proposed with Earth Tech. Bob Bamsey, Consultant with Earth
Tech, stated that there are about 50 manholes, lagoon areas,
gatewells and wet walls that they are looking at. Mr. Bamsey
estimated that a deteriorated manhole could cost up to $300.00.
Mr. Bamsey further stated that this project could be eligible for
grant money.
Moved by Getty, seconded by Murphy that the Professional Services
Agreement with Earth Tech, Inc., for design and construction
related services in conjunction with Satellite Interceptor Sewer
Corrosion Inhibition Project be forwarded to full council for
approval. Ayes: Five. Absent: Anders, Jordan. Motion
carried.
Moved by Getty, seconded by Krizek that the Professional Services
Agreement with Earth Tech, Inc., for design and construction
related services in conjunction with Odor Control Facility at
Easton Avenue Water Pollution Control Facilities 'Project be
forwarded to full council for approval. Ayes: Five. Absent:
Anders, Jordan. Motion carried.
With no further business before the council, it was moved by
Getty, seconded by Murphy that the meeting adjourn at 4:40 p.m.
Ayes: Five. Absent: Anders, Jordan. Motion carried.
