COUNCIL WORK SESSION

Members present: Anders, Jordan, Krizek, Murphy, Gronen, Getty, Berry.
Moved by Jordan, seconded by Gronen that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes:
Seven. Motion carried.
Eric Thorson, City Engineer, reviewed a proposed 28E Agreement with Black Hawk County to
provide G.I.S. information to the city. The agreement will provide for Black Hawk County to
transfer parcel information twice a month and vector map information once a month to the city.
Once the city has the information, the information will be shared with all city departments. The
information provided by Black Hawk County will be the basis which will allow the city to begin to
have digital maps of the storm and sanitary sewer system, zoning and other information. The cost
for Black Hawk County to provide the information to the city is approximately $300.00 per
month. The fee is based on the time it will take Black Hawk County to ship the data to the city.
The 28E Agreement will be placed on the council agenda on October 16, 2000.
With no further business before the council, it was moved by Jordan, seconded by Gronen that the
meeting be adjourned at 4:24 p.m. Ayes: Seven. Motion carried.
