RESOLUTION NO. 2009-1193
RESOLUTION RENAMING PORTIONS OF PUBLIC
STREETS AND NAMING A PUBLIC STREET SERVING
THE TECHWORKS ADDITION, IN THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the portion of River Road generally located between
Westfield Avenue and West Mullan Avenue be renamed West
Commercial Street; the portion of Westfield Avenue generally
located between River Road and West Commercial Street as platted
in Tract "B" of Techworks Addition be renamed West Commercial
Street; the portion of Jefferson Street generally located between
West Mullan Avenue and West Jefferson Street as platted in Tract
"F" of Techworks Addition be renamed West Jefferson Street; and
the naming of the portion of public street generally described as
the southerly extension of West Commercial Street from Westfield
Avenue to West Washington Street Access Road as West Commercial
Street, be and the same hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of December, 2009.
