RESOLUTION NO. 2022-113 RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., AND AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE ASBESTOS ABATEMENT SERVICES, CONTRACT NO. AB- 2022-02-04P, FOR PROPERTIES LOCATED AT 300 ALLEN STREET, 307 SUMNER STREET, AND 615 GLENWOOD STREET. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, heretofore instructed the Community Planning and Development Director of said City to prepare and file plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction the Asbestos Abatement Services, Contract No. AB-2022-02-04P, for properties located at 300 Allen Street, 307 Sumner Street, and 615 Glenwood Street, and WHEREAS, said Community Planning and Development Director did file said plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the Asbestos Abatement Services, Contract No. AB-2022-02-04P, for properties located at 300 Allen Street, 307 Sumner Street, and 615 Glenwood Street, and WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on February 21, 2022. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it is so ordered on motion by this Council that said plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the Asbestos Abatement Services, Contract No. AB-2022-02-04P, for properties located at 300 Allen Street, 307 Sumner Street, and 615 Glenwood Street, are hereby approved, and said project proceed in accordance with said specifications.
