RESOLUTION NO. 2022-114
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID TO ALL STAR
ENVIRONMENTAL OF DUBUQUE, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $3,715.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH ASBESTOS
ABATEMENT SERVICES, CONTRACT NO. AB-2022-02-04P,
FOR PROPERTIES LOCATED AT 300 ALLEN STREET, 307
SUMNER STREET, AND 615 GLENWOOD STREET, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, All Star Environmental of Dubuque, Iowa, submitted a bid in conjunction
with Asbestos Abatement Services Contract No. AB-2022-02-04P, for properties located at 300
Allen Street, 307 Sumner Street, and 615 Glenwood Street, in the amount of $3,715.00, and is
the apparent low bidder.
WHEREAS, All Star Environmental submitted a written contract, bond and certificate of
insurance, per the specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said project with
Resolution No. 2022-113, after public hearing on February 21, 2022, in conjunction with
Asbestos Abatement Services, Contract No. AB-2022-02-04P, for properties located at 300 Allen
Street, 307 Sumner Street, and 615 Glenwood Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA:
1. That the bid in the amount of $3,715.00, in conjunction with Asbestos Abatement
Services Contract No. AB-2022-02-04P, for properties located at 300 Allen Street, 307 Sumner
Street, and 615 Glenwood Street, is hereby accepted and awarded to All Star Environmental.
2. That the contract, bond and certificate of insurance submitted by All Star
Environmental, in conjunction with Asbestos Abatement Services Contract No. AB-2022-02-
04P, for properties located at 300 Allen Street, 307 Sumner Street, and 615 Glenwood Street, are
hereby approved.
3. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents
on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21' day of February 2022.
